Details: CHR Solutions has a full-time opening for a Creative Marketing Services Manager.  This position will be filled in one of the following CHR Solutions offices:  Molalla, OR; Sioux Falls, SD, Austin, TX, or Dallas, TX.   The Manager of Creative Marketing Services will have line of business responsibility for establishing and meeting financial goals, staffing and managing personnel, and working with other CHR Solutions team members. The prime responsibility for the role is to establish and grow a creative practice aimed at being the outsourced marketing arm for our customers and working with them in a consultative manner to help them establish their marketing strategy, programs, collateral, website, advertising and other key programs which provide value to their marketing efforts.    Essential Functions1.      Define marketing strategies and lead team to create enduring brands to realize those strategies based on a foundation of practical design application.2.      Analyze client needs using knowledge of current and emerging market trends.3.      Engage and consult with clients in a “discovery process" aimed at discerning their needs, writing a creative brief, and a statement of work which meets those needs and then presenting it to the customer and gaining their acceptance.4.      Proactively address internal and external client issues and needs leading to effective solutions.5.      Manage and allocate resources effectively within approved budget; including assignment of staff to projects and ensure availability of adequate equipment and tools for successful delivery of services to clients.6.      Direct and coordinate efforts of assigned design team to ensure CHR Solutions builds and offers products and services that meet or exceed client market demands.7.      Effectively manage deliverables, timelines, risks, and dependencies on a project that is in line with statement of work.8.      Identify, meet and/or exceed client expectations within defined parameters related to delivery and quality of services.9.      Build partnerships and collaborate with brand strategists and internal and external business clients.10. Lead and influence in a matrix team environment.11. Develop talent and mentor staff.Ability to travel up to 25% by car and/or plane, may include weekend travel.  Ability to travel internationally may be required.  Current passport and valid driver’s required.

The primary role of the position is to develop and implement marketing and product strategies to drive revenue and growth for biorefined materials. The product marketing manager is accountable for the identification of key customer requirements necessary for success and collaboration with technical development teams to implement product requirements.   Actively identify, develop and secure market relationships for new products, services and technologies. Focus is on mapping market opportunities for new business concepts stemming from the emerging biorefinery world. Determines the market and commercial potential for identified opportunities providing analysis of commercial, economic/financial and competitive attractiveness. Identifies where in the value chain to participate and the type of products, systems or services to provide, partners for commercialization; clearly articulates the basis for sustainable competitive advantage. Works with the technical team to determine the merit and fit of various opportunities and matching with customers and market applications. Present at conferences, trade shows and to prospective customers, as appropriate. Develops and achieves growth plans in assigned markets and accounts. Develops robust sales revenue strategies with ability to implement, execute and realize revenue.  Provide market intelligence on addressable market, segmentation, competitive products and market trends. Communicate with and advise Management of changes in market conditions, competitive activities, technical discoveries, product modifications, and operational details that may affect business and marketing initiatives. Create project/product development scope, gather and conduct market analysis and provide summarized findings. Participate in market initiatives and market evaluation tools; must be proficient in the following: SWOT analysis, Competitive mapping and landscape analysis, Five-Forces Model, and Basic Economic modeling.  Manage multiple products, projects and business initiatives simultaneously. Develop project plans with research development teams to implement product requirements. Coordinate summary presentations and documentation preparation regarding the project(s) for Stage Gate management reviews or collaborator presentations. Maintain a team environment with other departments. Champion POET in the community. Maintain a high level of customer service and friendly atmosphere. Other duties as assigned.
